Harold Alfond Center for Cancer CareThe facility provides comprehensive cancer care by combining radiation and medical oncology treatment, diagnostic imaging, and a multidisciplinary clinic within a single facility. In addition to clinical and administrative areas, space is provided for patient advocates and social workers, along with a great room, resource library, meditation room, café, and retail boutique.

Lafayette Family Cancer Center
Cancer Care of Maine is conveniently located off Interstate 395 on Whiting Hill Road in Brewer at the Brewer Professional Center on the Brewer Professional Center on Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems campus. Cancer Care of Maine’s state-of-the-art facility was dedicated in December 2009. It houses outpatient medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology, and diagnostic services – including a blood laboratory, basic imaging, and PET-CT scanning on the first two floors.

Maine Cancer Foundation
Maine Cancer Foundation publicly solicits and distributes funds to a variety of cancer research and education programs. 80% of available funds are dedicated to cancer research and 20% to education and patient support programs.

Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center
The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center in Ellsworth is one of only three freestanding cancer resource centers in Maine. It serves Hancock and Washington Counties where the incidence, prevalence, and mortality rates for cancer far exceed both the state and national averages.

Office of MaineCare Services
The Office of MaineCare Services administers the Department’s major health care financing programs and health care benefits. MaineCare Services coordinates the programs and benefits, assures that they operate under consistent policy in keeping with the Department’s goals and Federal mandates, and ensures that they are administered in an effective and efficient manner.

Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS)
The Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) supports Maine’s older and disabled adults by providing Adult Protective, Brain Injury, Other Related Conditions, Intellectual and Developmental Disability, Long Term Care, and Aging and Community services to the people of Maine. OADS coordinates the programs and benefits to assure they operate consistent with the state and federal policies and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services’ goals.
